The Story Behind
Every Bottle
Kalkap Honey Enterprise is built on a simple belief: A thriving forest and thriving communities can grow together. Our work is measured not only by honey produced, but by the real change it creates from rural families earning stable income to forests being protected for future generations.

Impact Highlights
Community Transformation
Rural Beekeepers Trained
Through hands-on training, mentorship, and ongoing support, rural beekeepers gain skills in sustainable beekeeping, hive management, and quality honey production.

Eco-Friendly Beehives Deployed
Top-bar hives replace traditional bark hives, reducing forest destruction and supporting long-term bee health.

Economic Growth
of Honey Produced
Our production supports local value addition, packaging, and market distribution thereby creating jobs and strengthening supply chains.
Countries - Export Markets Reached
We have expanded beyond Zambia to deliver high-quality natural honey across the Southern Africa region.
Botswana • Namibia • Zimbabwe
Environmental Impact
Our model is designed to protect Zambia's forests and biodiversity by reducing the need for tree-cutting in traditional beekeeping. By transitioning rural beekeepers from bark hives to our eco-friendly top-bar hives, Kalkap Honey Enterprise has saved over 1,200 trees while boosting the income of rural households. Every bottle of honey helps preserve Zambia's biodiversity and empowers families sustainably.
